A Kızılay Accountant: What to Bring to the First Meeting

A first meeting with an accountant in Kızılay starts with a clear description of the work, not a thick folder. What to bring, what gets decided, and where the office is.

Short answer: For a first meeting with an accountant in Kızılay, your ID, a one-sentence description of the work and a tax plate if you already have one are enough. If you are forming a company, bring a name and activity idea; if you will hire, bring an approximate start date. Missing papers do not cancel the meeting. The office is at Meşrutiyet Mah., Atatürk Boulevard No: 105/815, 06420 Çankaya, weekdays 09:00–18:00. A short call before you come is enough.

People looking for an accountant in Kızılay usually arrive with two questions: what should I bring, and what will this cost. Both are answered at the same table, in that order reversed. The work comes first, the papers confirm it, and the fee is written inside the scope.

This note is for anyone sitting down with Ankara Muhasebeci, or with any other accountant, for the first time. The questions that help you choose are in how to choose an accountant in Ankara. The 2026 floor fees are in accountant fees in Ankara. Here we only cover the meeting itself: the address, the bag and the note you leave with.

Where the office is, and how the meeting runs

The office is in Meşrutiyet, at Atatürk Boulevard No: 105/815, 06420 Çankaya, Ankara. It is a short walk from Kızılay and Sıhhiye metro stations, so most districts reach it faster than a side-street office. We are here weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00; a short call before you come keeps two files off the same hour.

The meeting can be in the room or on a video call. Returns are filed electronically; an inspection, a signature or a hard decision is faster at the table. The comparison is in online accounting or a local accountant. Clients outside Ankara use the same list on a call.

Who should come

The person who decides should come; a colleague may take notes. Four files sit here: a founder with no tax plate, an open sole proprietorship, a limited company already trading, and a marketplace shop or a motorcycle courier paid through a platform. If you have not chosen a type, see sole proprietorship or limited company. Couriers can start with registering as a self-employed courier, shop owners with the tax guide for marketplace sellers.

What to put on the table

Your situationEnough on the dayUseful if you have it
No company yetID and a one-line description of the workA name idea, an address preference, whether you will have a partner
Sole proprietorship openID and the tax plateA three-month income and cost sketch, e-document details if any
Limited company tradingTax plate and signature circularThe last provisional-tax period, the partner structure
Marketplace or courierThe platform name and a rough monthly turnoverA sample commission invoice, your return rate
Hiring is likelyAn approximate start dateWhether the wage is quoted net or gross
Switching accountantsThe current accountant’s nameThe last filing period and who holds the e-signature

You do not need a full year of bank statements on day one; the last month’s summary is enough. Do not read out passwords, e-signature PINs or bank logins. Authority moves in writing, after the decision.

Six points the meeting should settle

A useful first meeting does not end as a chat. Six headings carry the decisions that get expensive later: the activity sentence, the company type, the document regime, the monthly scope, the day the papers arrive, and the date of the first return.

The activity sentence is one line: what you sell, to whom, and where. It picks the activity code, the e-document type and the questions an inspection will ask. Choosing the code at random is the mistake we see most often in seven mistakes when forming a company. The steps themselves are in the company formation guide for Ankara. In the meeting we pick the row that matches your sentence.

The document regime comes out of the same sentence. e-Invoice or e-Archive, a self-employment receipt or a retail slip: the year’s communiqué sets the threshold, your model sets the choice. The split is in e-invoice or e-archive. On courier and e-commerce files the platform usually asks for the document before you do.

How the first meeting’s time is split
  • The work, in one line20%
  • Company type and activity25%
  • Papers and documents20%
  • Monthly scope20%
  • Calendar and contact15%

This is not a survey. It is the agenda we use for a first meeting at the Kızılay office. The fee is not a separate topic before the scope; it is written inside the monthly scope.

The note you leave with

The output is a short note, not a handshake. It states the activity sentence, the company type or the decision to stay as you are, the document regime, what the monthly fee includes, the day papers are due, and the date of the next step. The fee is one line inside that note, not a number given before the scope.

Read the note the same day and ask about any line you do not follow. If you are switching accountants, the note grows a handover list, set out in the guide to switching accountants.

A first-meeting note beside a set of books
The meeting ends with a short written note. We describe the same scope in the bookkeeping and accounting service.

The first seven days

After you accept the note, the first week is three jobs. Authority: e-return access, and the e-signature if there is one, is assigned to the accountant who will run the file. Infrastructure: e-notification and the document regime are tested, or the application is filed the same week. Calendar: which paper arrives on which day, and the date of the first return, goes on your list.

If an employee starts the same week, registration is the next working day’s subject. Payroll items are in the first-employee payroll checklist, filing days in the monthly tax calendar, and the year’s checkpoints in the first-year checklist.

On e-commerce and courier files, sales, commission and returns have to sit in the same month or VAT and income slip together. E-commerce accounting and courier accounting run in the same office, as an annex to the same note. If the decision is to form a company, we open the file the same week through company formation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come without an appointment?

We are in the office weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00. A call before you come still keeps another file from occupying the same hour. A short message is what stops the meeting from being cut in half.

Does a thin folder waste the meeting?

No. If you have an ID and a description of the work, there is something to decide. The tax plate, contracts or a bank summary can follow. Missing papers are not a reason to postpone the decision.

Will I know the fee on the day?

You will, once the scope is clear. The floor fee is set by the profession for everyone. The difference on your file comes from the number of returns, staff, e-documents and platform reconciliation. You see the number beside the scope line in the note.

Do you work with clients outside Ankara?

Yes. Papers arrive digitally and returns are filed electronically. When a signature or a face-to-face decision is needed, you come to the Kızılay office or join by video. The same list applies outside the city.

Do e-commerce and courier work need a separate meeting?

No. The platform and the deliveries are added to the same description of the work. Commission, returns and the receipt regime are discussed that day. We do not open a second office or a second appointment.

Can the agreement be signed the same day?

Yes, if you have read the note and accepted the scope. We will not rush you. Files that read the note in the evening and confirm the next day open more cleanly than files signed in a hurry at the table.

In short

A first meeting with an accountant in Kızılay starts with a clear description of the work, not a thick folder. Come to the Meşrutiyet office with your ID and one sentence about the business. Bring the tax plate, a contract or a platform sample if you have them. Leave with the activity, the document regime, the scope and the first date in writing.

At Ankara Muhasebeci we fill this list against your file at the office on Atatürk Boulevard in Kızılay. Get in touch to set the meeting. If formation is the subject, see company formation. If an existing set of books will move, see bookkeeping and accounting. Either page shows which door you will walk through.

Before you come, write one sentence: what you sell, to whom, and where. That sentence turns the first hour in Çankaya from a chat into a decision.
